India's best film maker Mani Ratnam's new movie RAAVAN starring Abhishek Bachchan & Aishwarya Rai is set to release on June 18, 2010. Academy award 


winner Music Maestro A.R.Rahman's favourite director Mani Ratnam once again joined each other for 12 times. Audio was planned to release on April 24, 


2010 (Saturday). But the first Short trailer of the film, Music Launch Teaser launched on YouTube yesterday (April 16, 2010 - Friday). Audio rights by 


T-series, But the movie produced by Reliance's Big Pictures.

வாரணம் ஆயிரம் படங்களை எடுத்த கௌதம் மேனன் இயக்கிய ஆறாவது தமிழ் படம் 'விண்ணைத்தாண்டி வருவாயா'. 

இது போக இவர் தெலுங்கு மற்றும் ஹிந்தியில் ஒரு படம் எடுத்து இருந்தார். 

மணி ரத்னத்தின் பல வழிகளை பயன்படுத்தும் கௌதம் மேனன். அவரை போல படங்களில் ரயில் காட்சிகள், ஓரிரு வார்த்தைகளில் வசனங்கள் பேசுவது என நூறு காரனங்கள் சொல்லலாம். அதே போல ஒரே நேரத்தில் ஒரே கதையை இரு மொழிகளில் எடுக்கும் பழக்கத்தையும் தொடங்கிவிட்டார். 

விண்ணைத்தாண்டி வருவாயா எடுத்த அதே நேரத்தில் இதே கதையை தெலுங்கிலும் 'ஏ மாய சீசாவே' ('என்ன மாயம் செய்தாய்' என்று பொருள்)

முதல் முறையாக ஒரு தமிழ் படத்தின் பாடல் வெளியீடு வெளிநாட்டில் வெளியானது இந்த படத்தின் பாடல்களே. ப்ரிடிஷின் மிக உயர்ந்த விருது பெற்ற ஏ.ஆர். ரஹ்மானின் இசை என்பதால் லண்டனில் வெளியானது.

படத்தில் சிம்பு எடுக்கும் படமான 'ஜெஸ்ஸி'யின் நாயகனாக நடித்த நாக சித்தான்யா தான் இதன் தெலுங்கு பதிப்பின் கதாநாயகன். அதே படத்தில் நாயகியாய் நடித்த சமந்தா ருத் பிரபுவும் தெலுங்கு படத்தின் கதாநாயகி. 

ஏ மாய சீசாவே என்கிற தெலுங்கு படத்தில் அந்த கதாநாயகன் எடுக்கும்  'ஜெஸ்ஸி' என்கிற படத்தின் நடிகர்களாக சிம்பு மற்றும் த்ரிஷா நடித்து உள்ளனர்.

ஆனால் தெலுங்கு படத்தில் இருவரும் சேர்ந்து விடுவது போல படத்தின் கிளைமாக்ஸ் அமைத்து உள்ளார் இயக்குனர் கௌதம் மேனன்.

ராஜீவ் மேனனுடன் உதவி இயக்குனராக திரைப்படங்கள் மற்றும் விளம்பரங்களில் பனி புரிந்த கௌதம் அவர் படமான 'மின்சார கனவு' படத்திலும் பணியாற்றி இருக்கிறார். அந்த படத்தின் பாடல் வரிகளான 'விண்ணைத்தாண்டி வருவாயா' வே இந்த படத்தின் தலைப்பிற்கு காரணம். 

ராஜீவ் மேனனின் தாயார் கல்யாணி மேனன் அவர்களே 'ஒமானே பெண்ணே' பாடலின் இடையில் வரும் மலையாள வரிகளை எழுதியுள்ளார். 

22 வருடம் மலையாள சினிமாக்களில் பாடல்கள் எழுதி வந்த கைத்தபுரம் தாமோதரன் இந்த படத்தில் வரும் முழு மலையாள பாடலான 'ஆரோமலே'வின் பாடல் ஆசிரியர். இவருக்கு இசை அமைப்பாளர், திரைக்கதை ஆசிரியர், பின்னணி பாடகர், நடிகர்  என பல முகங்கள் உண்டு. இசைத் துறையில் இவர் எண்ணத்ற்ற விருதுகளையும் குவித்த்துள்ளர்.

இந்த இரண்டு மலையாள பாடல்களும் தெலுங்கு படத்தில் அப்படியே இடம்பெற்று உள்ளது.

This movie leads the last week Box Office Collections as 61 million US dollars, which breaks the reord of Scary Move 4's record in box office as a highest Easter movie debut, 40.2 million US dollars. This movie was produced by Basil Iwanyk, Kevin De La Noy and Richard D. Zanuck. Written by Lawrence Kasdan, Travis Beacham, Phil Hay and Matt Manfredi. Music composed by Ramin Djawadi. But my thought is he is not only inspired, but also following so many styles (concepts/facts) from Mani ratnam [Also frm so many foreign movies, lol]. Generally its a gud movie, but even so many scenes are same as like Gautam menon's previous movies. Ex. Church scene as Minnale, Love expressed scene as kaakha kaakha, trisha's style as KK Jyothika, speaks(dialog delivery) like Vettaiyadu Vilayadu Jyothika, fighting with Trisha brother like Minnale Abbas etc etc... Normally some scenes frm Gautam movies inspired frm other language unpopular films, but this time he is follwoing famous movies scenes like Lagaan's aamir khan proposing scene, KANK, Mani ratnam's Geethanjali (telugu), Alaipaythey, Mouna ragam etc. etc. etc.
